Flyers Cup Pool Rules

The pool is open to everyone. This a game and is provided strictly for entertainment purposes. In order to participate, you must sign up and create an account. In some years we have been able to provide a prize to the winner of the pool.  If we are able to do so this season, the winner will be contacted via email to arrange for receipt of the prize. To sign up, you must create an account with a screen name, password and valid email address. We reserve the right to delete any account at any time and for any reason. Accounts created with profane screen names will be deleted.

Privacy Policy: Your privacy is very important to us.

  • Your personal information will NEVER be sold, published or redistributed.
  • Only the screen name you create will be shown on this site.
  • You will NEVER be contacted as a result of registering an account here unless it pertains specifically to the pool.

The pool officially opens on Sunday, February 28th as soon as the tournament information is available and can be loaded into the system. Picks can be made and changed until the puck drop of the first game of the tournament. At that time, all picksets will be locked and changes will no longer be permitted.

The pool works in the same manner as an NCAA bracket pool with some differences. There are 3 separate brackets: AAA, AA, A. You pick a winner for each game of the tournament.  The scoring system is listed below. Game results will be entered as soon as possible each night there are games played.  In certain circumstances, it may not be possible to enter the results the night of the game.  In those cases, they will be entered as early as possible the following day.

Round Points
Championship 4
Semi-Final 3
Quarter-Final 2
All other games 1

The bottom line to these rules is very simple. This is my site, my rules and is provided for people to have some fun. If I have to give any thought to the screen name you have chosen, it is will be deleted. Take your personal problems, gripes and whatever other issues you have somewhere else.
